In November, the last group of mum from the CGCC WOW team finish on a high after completing our 10 day Interior decorating course and work experience at Clockhouse Community Centre in Woolwich.
This is the third group we have worked with and all the mum were as always amazing to work with. Out of the six who started four completed the 3 day practice sessions, four completed the work experience and three achieved the L1 Award in HS&E, and to date one has passed the cscs test.

Cllr John Fahy visiting our W.O.W team (Women Of Woolwich) who have been decorating a room at the Clock House Community Centre in Woolwich. CGCC in partnership with O.W.E CIC is offering have been offered three 10 day course in Interior
decorating for unemployed mums. 50% of them have now a CSCS card and are employment ready. The other mums are either volunteering in our centres, have found employment in another field of activity, are working on a business plan or have gone back to studying. We are very proud of them all. Well done the WOW team.
