Volunteer with us

Are you interested in volunteering with us? We have some fantastic volunteering opportunities and are always looking to grow the team of people who support us in many different aspects of the organisation.

Currently we have Voluntary Board Members, who are tradeswomen mentors to support our trainees during and after training, and others who enjoy being ambassadors promoting our business in and around Kent and London.

If you have something to offer OWECIC, whether in time, skills or expertise, we would love to hear from you. We are currently on the look-out for people to help behind the scenes with our social media marketing and admin in the office, and building the interior decorating team. We also want to build a team of tradeswomen to come and support the new cohort of trainees who are due to start our next training programme at the end of September. If you can give up to a day or half a day a week to come and work alongside the trainees, support their skills development on painting and decorating days (when we do our practical training), or offer support during the employability skills training (hands on trade experience), please get in touch.

Board Role (Voluntary)

We are thrilled to be able to offer a new role alongside current Board Members. 

OWECIC is expanding its board members. In this voluntary role and we are looking for someone with strategic and operational skills and experience in sales and marketing to help focus on commercial activity. This is an opportunity to make a significant difference to the lives of the women involved in the Intodecor Project by developing OWECIC sales strategy and helping to secure the organisation’s financial future.
